Catch her attention. In order to make it, you have to write your profile beyond ordinary. There is no recipe for everyone on profiles, it is you who is presented there, so the creativity is all yours. Everyone can write: “male, Sagittarius, seeking an attractive…”, but only you can invent something special, which represents you and is not a boring stereotype.
Details are important However, it is a bit different case with your personal profile. Indeed, your task is to intrigue her, so if she would like to know how badly are you addicted to caffeine or what you can see from the windows of your office, you will have a chance to tell her later. Your personal description must be brief and to the point: list only the main features of your character and what you are looking for in another person.
Address her directly. You have to avoid any writing in third person, because such writing carries a serious psychological drawback. Here is an example. Assume that someone writes in his profile: “I hope to find a single woman, who likes to keep things in order and has great sense of humor, which helps her take things easy. Like, she can enjoy getting completely wet under warm summer rain,” etc. She might be just that type of a girl described in this passage, but because of the third person she can miss the message, feeling that this is all about someone else. How not to miss such opportunity? One has to write in a first: “Hey, I am looking for YOU, please, wink to me if this is written about you: I love when everything in my life is in order, but if I am getting caught in a warm summer rain I just laugh and enjoy it. It is life and I am thankful for an opportunity to get a little wet once in a while!” You see, the content of the examples is the same, but the way of expression is different. And I guarantee you that the second version will attract much more attention!
Make her laugh. Yes, this will be a great plus if you will add some element of a joke, a trick, a funny surprise in your profile. Remember, this profile is not going to be reviewed as your promotion dossier, while rewards can go quite beyond any promotion.
Mystify! It is hard to predict a woman, but there is a way to stir her interest: women love mysteries. So give it to them! Leave untold parts in your story, leave blanks, stir her curiosity and interest and be assured, she will wink to you or may be even will write you first! If she would fill the gaps in your story with her imagination, she would love to know how good are her guesses, so you will have her attention and this is what your profile is for!
Careful with your exclusion list. The list of those who shall not attempt to contact you must be made with a certain caution. Offering your friendship to all females from 20 to 35 might be too silly, but it will not be much smarter to limit your list to blonde supermodels with Ph.D. in astrophysics. First, if requirements are too high, one can miss his perfect match just because she may think that the author of such profile suffers from some inferiority complex. Second, while nobody is looking for dating ugly ladies. Ladies, in their turn, even most beautiful ones, quite often tend to be displeased with themselves. So by posting too demanding profile one is risking to repel (and he will) someone who might be just his perfect match. You certainly dont want such thing to happen.
Your grammar. Yes, grammar is important. Correctly written text is usually taken as granted, text with grammar flaws will be noticed. You can write that you are lost and lonely in your Beverly Hills house, and you need someone to help you to fill at least half of its 8 bedrooms with kids and pets. If you will make a couple mistakes in your profile, your maturity and sincerity will be doubted, even if in reality you are mature and sincere person.
Restrain from any physical boast. It is always better to keep your male stamina restrained in your profile. Unless you are looking into a short, 1-2 night relationship, it is not a good idea to emphasize that you are “passionate lover, who can make it 10 times in a row”. Do not make yourself looking silly.
Truth, truth and nothing but the truth. Lie will be revealed sooner or later. Why should you tarnish possibly great relationship with a lie? Be honest with your profile and with the choice of your photos.
Brevity as virtue. True, so my tips are close to conclusion. A few final comments, though. Avoid any abbreviations and omissions in your profile. This is not a classified ad (even if you may feel this way), so you will be given enough space for expressing yourself. For the same time your reader, a woman, your potential date will not be interested in even chatting with you, if she will see untidy, half-baked profile. If she will notice some deficiency of attention in your own personal profile, be assured, she will conclude that this would be as well the degree of your attention to her. This is not good. Make your profile neat and concise, and you will get a plenty of winks. Good luck.
